We're living in an exciting time, and at Portola Springs, we're thrilled to be growing with the times! This year, we're embracing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), integrating this crucial knowledge into our classroom in age appropriate ways for students and providing professional development for our staff. through all our curriculum, our goal is to equip every student with the skills and understanding they'll need for the future, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a boundless sense of curiosity. These new means also allow us to continually personalize learning and review data to make our learning groups more tailored to each student's needs and give meaningful feedback. Through AI, and all our curriculum and tools, our staff makes our vision statement come to life- "The vision of Portola Springs Elementary is to inspire students, parents, and staff to communicate and collaborate, creating a vibrant learning community that is safe, inclusive, innovative, and encourages a growth mindset."
Our community feel is something I deeply cherish and what I believe sets us apart. The dedication of our parents, their involvement through our PTA and at events and volunteer opportunities, and the genuine care everyone shows for our students truly sets us apart.
